It never held a Gambling Commission licence

Searching the Gambling Commission’s business register for “WG” on 22 August 2026 returns two results, and neither of them is a casino. They are Black Cow Technology Limited, account 37140, and HGMT Limited, account 54059. They match only because the letters w and g happen to sit next to each other inside blackcowgaming.com and hacksawgaming.com.

Several affiliate pages name Cerberlot N.V., a Curaçao company, as the operator behind WG Casino. Searching the register for that name returns nothing at all.

It is worth spelling out what no British licence actually costs a player, because it is the reason a Gambling Commission licence is the first thing we check on any site. There is no GAMSTOP self-exclusion. There is no IBAS or other approved dispute resolution scheme. There are no British rules on deposit limits, affordability checks or the protection of customer funds. And section 330 of the Gambling Act 2005 makes it an offence to advertise unlawful gambling, which is what remote gambling offered to people in Great Britain without a Commission licence is. That is why this page sets out what WG Casino was rather than where to sign up, and why there is no link to it anywhere on this site.

The site is not just quiet, it is gone

A DNS lookup for wg.casino on 22 August 2026 returns no address record. The domain’s nameservers are dns1 and dns2.registrar-servers.com, which are Namecheap’s registrar defaults: what a domain points at when it is being held rather than hosted.

The registry record says the domain was created on 22 July 2020, runs to 22 July 2027, and was last changed on 12 August 2026. Someone is still paying for it and someone changed something about it ten days before this page was written. Neither of those makes it a working casino.

What WG Casino actually was

The last usable archived copy of the homepage is from 5 September 2022, and it prices everything in euros. The lobby leans on Booongo and 3 Oaks slots, with titles like Book of Sun, 3 Coins and Aztec Sun: Hold and Win running down the front page, alongside Evolution live tables. The promotions were the loud kind: a Golden Mile tournament with a €1,000 pool, and a Glam Cruise lottery advertising a €100,000 pool and a car.

The marketing footprint is the clearest signal of who it was for. Archived sign-up URLs carry affiliate promo codes and YouTube pre-roll campaign tags, several of them with Russian-language values in the campaign fields. This was a casino buying players through CIS-facing video advertising, not a British brand. It also geo-blocked by region: the archived error page returns “We are very sorry, but the Casino is not available in your region.”

Why the sister site lists you will find are unreliable

Search for WG sister sites and you get a run of pages listing them confidently. Read those pages side by side and the same shape appears in all of them: a handful of small offshore names, then a run of well-known British brands with no plausible connection to WG at all.

That second group is filler. Those are the sites the affiliate has a commercial arrangement with, dropped into a page about a dead Curaçao casino because the search term had traffic. One of the pages ranking for this term sits on a sistersites subdomain of a wg-casino domain, which is an affiliate’s address rather than anything the operator ran.

A sister site claim is only worth something if you can check it, and there are two ways to check one: a shared account number on the Gambling Commission register, or the same named operating company in the terms and conditions of both sites. Our guide to sister sites walks through both.

Neither is available here. No British licence means no register trail. And the archived WG Casino homepage carries no licence statement and no company name in its footer at all, which closes the second route as well. We could publish a list. We could not stand behind one, so we have not.

The British-licensed sites that come closest

If the appeal was the size of the slot library and the constant tournaments, Videoslots is the nearest equivalent that holds a British licence. It runs on Gambling Commission account 39380, and its Battle of Slots tournaments are the licensed version of the format WG built its front page around.

If the appeal was the bonuses, the honest answer is that the offshore bonus is usually the bigger number and the terms are usually the reason.
