Affiliate disclosure
The short version
Some links on this site are affiliate links. If you follow one and open an account, the operator may pay us a commission. It costs you nothing, and the offer you get is the same as if you had gone there directly.
What it pays for
Reading registers, reading terms, capturing evidence and writing the pages. That work has a cost and the site is free to read, so commission is what covers it.
What it does not buy
Position, and verdicts. No operator has been offered a place in a listing, and none has been given one. Rankings are set by the criteria we publish, and a commercial relationship has never moved a brand up or removed a criticism. Where a page says something unflattering about an operator we may be paid by, it stays.
Blank fields stay blank too. If we have not established a figure, no commercial arrangement will fill it in.
Who we can link to at all
Advertising a gambling operator to consumers in Great Britain is lawful only where that operator holds a Gambling Commission licence. This is not a policy we can bend: the site’s own code refuses to store an outbound promotional link for any licensing authority other than the UKGC, at both the point of saving and the point of rendering.
So you will find coverage of offshore operators here, because knowing what a Curacao or Anjouan licence does not give you is useful. You will not find a link inviting you to join one.
How to tell
Outbound links to operators carry rel="sponsored nofollow" in the page source. Links to regulators, support organisations and our own pages are ordinary links and earn us nothing.
Questions about any of this are welcome through the contact form. See also our about page and terms of use.
