Bingo Sites With Newbie Rooms: What Each One Asks First
Bingo sites with newbie rooms, checked 3 October 2026. Zingo, Sun and Heart publish one, and none opens on registration alone. What each room asks for, when it runs, how prizes are paid, and the free games that replaced the rest.
Bingo sites with newbie rooms are rarer than most lists suggest. On 3 October 2026 only three British-licensed sites published a room reserved for new players on their own pages: Zingo Bingo, Sun Bingo and Heart Bingo. None of the three opens its room on registration alone. Zingo wants £1 played on bingo, Sun wants ID verification, and Heart wants £10 played. Several bigger names that used to run newbie rooms now offer free games open to every player instead.
This guide sets out what each newbie room asks for, when it runs, how prizes are paid, and which sites have replaced theirs with free rooms anyone can use.

Zingo Bingo: the only one paying cash

Zingo’s Newbie Room is the most generous of the three on paper. It runs for up to 10 days after you register, opens once you have deposited and played £1 or more on any bingo, and pays winnings as cash. Games are 90-ball with prizes for one line, two lines and a full house, plus a “1 To Go” prize for anyone one number short. You can hold up to 36 free tickets per game, and prizes are split equally when several tickets win.
The clock matters. The 10 days count from registration, not from your £1 bet, so a week’s delay in placing that first pound leaves you three days in the room. Sessions run for an hour at 11am and an hour at 5pm.
Zingo’s separate welcome offer is 360 free bingo tickets when you spend £10 on bingo. Those tickets last 48 hours and are worth up to 10p each in selected rooms.
Sun Bingo: four hours a day, paid as bonus

Sun’s Learner room gives the most playing time: four hours a day in your first week, from 12pm to 2pm and 6pm to 8pm. It is the only one of the three that does not ask you to spend anything first. Its terms do require registration and ID verification before you can take part, and the session has to be bought in advance, at no cost, before it starts. Once a session begins, no more buy-ins are taken.
The catch is the prize. The £1,500 total is shared across all Learner players over the week and paid as bingo bonus, not cash, so any win has to go through the bonus terms before it can be withdrawn.
Heart Bingo: two sets of rules on one page

Heart’s offers page describes its Newbie Room twice, and the two descriptions disagree.
- The promotion tile says the room is open to customers who have played £10 in the last 7 days, that it runs for 7 days from the first time you open any bingo room, between 11am and 12pm and 5.30pm and 6.30pm, and that winnings are paid as bonus.
- The guide text lower down the same page says the room gives 10 free sessions for spending just £0.01 on bingo, with two sessions a day for five days.
The promotion tile is the version that carries the terms link, so plan on the £10 rule and treat the 1p version as out of date. Heart’s welcome offer that day was a £50 bingo bonus for depositing and playing £10 in any bingo room, with 4x wagering and a £200 maximum that can be redeemed. Going by the wording of each, one £10 spend in the bingo rooms should count towards both.
Sites that dropped the newbie room for free games
None of the sites below listed a room for new players on the pages read on 3 October 2026. What they ran instead was free bingo open to every player, usually with small prizes or prizes paid in points.
- Mecca Bingo: free bingo every night from 8pm to 9pm in Penny Lane, billed as a £10K Free Power Hour with a £5K game each day. Its lobby also listed Lucky for Some, a 0p room, and its promotions page listed no newbie room.
- Kitty Bingo and Lucky Pants Bingo, Mecca’s sister sites on the same Rank licence: the same 8pm to 9pm free hour, in rooms called Penny Heaven and Penny Paradise.
- Gala Bingo: Daily Free Bingo every five minutes around the clock, up to 6 tickets per game, with prizes paid in Gala Points rather than money.
- Paddy Power Bingo: six hours of free bingo daily, from 12pm to 6pm, in Paddy’s Free Bingo Room. Opt in required. Its promotions page listed no newbie room.
- Ladbrokes: free games every 15 minutes in the Ladbrokes Lounge, paying LadBucks rather than cash.
- PlayOJO: its lobby listed a Rookies Room with free tickets and a £1.30 prize, but its bingo page did not say who can enter it, so it is left out of the table above.
How to get the most from a newbie room
- Start the clock when you can play. Zingo counts from registration and Heart from the first time you open a bingo room, so registering on a busy week wastes days.
- Check how prizes are paid. Zingo pays cash. Sun and Heart pay bonus, which comes with its own wagering. How wagering requirements work shows what that costs.
- Line up the spend. If a room needs £1 or £10 played, make it the same spend that unlocks the welcome offer, and check which rooms the welcome offer counts.
- One go per person. Sun Bingo’s terms limit the promotion to one per registered account and per person, and say duplicate accounts can lose any bonus earned.
