Bingo sites that accept PayPal are easy to find in the UK: Mecca, Sun Bingo, Fabulous, Gala, Foxy and MrQ all list it on their own pages, and MrQ pays PayPal withdrawals back in under four hours. The catch is not availability. It is that the welcome offer usually excludes PayPal deposits, so the £10 you put in through PayPal earns nothing, and the site will not tell you until you read the small print. This guide lists the licensed bingo sites that publish PayPal as a method, what each one’s terms say about deposits, withdrawals, limits and the welcome offer, which big names do not take it at all, and the order to do things in so you get both the bonus and the fast payouts.

Which UK bingo sites accept PayPal?

A site is only listed here if PayPal appears on its own pages, read from a UK connection on 17 and 18 September 2026. Third party lists that say “PayPal accepted” are not evidence; the cashier list or help centre on the operator’s site is.

Eight sites, one pattern. Every one that runs a deposit-match or spins welcome offer excludes PayPal from it, either by naming it (Mecca, Lucky VIP) or by allowing debit cards only (Sun, Fabulous). If you want the bonus, deposit by debit card first and switch to PayPal afterwards.

Which bingo sites do not take PayPal?

tombola, the biggest bingo-only brand in Britain, does not. Its help centre says “To make a deposit, you must first add a card”, and the only methods it describes are a debit card in your own name and Apple Pay. Withdrawals go back to the card, with a £10 minimum, and tombola quotes up to four hours for fast withdrawals and five business days for standard ones. tombola runs no wagering requirements at all, so the PayPal question and the bonus question never collide there; it is simply a debit card site.

Offshore sites that take UK sign-ups without a British licence do not offer PayPal either, for a reason covered below. Loki Casino and Golden Mister are two examples.

Why do bingo sites exclude PayPal from the welcome offer?

Because a PayPal deposit is harder to trace back to one person than a debit card is, and welcome offers are where bonus abuse happens. A debit card is tied to a bank account that has already passed a bank’s identity checks, and a site can see the card number, so opening a second account with the same card is caught immediately. A PayPal account can be funded from several sources and the site sees only the PayPal email. Excluding PayPal, Paysafecard and the e-wallets from the offer is the cheapest way for an operator to stop one person claiming it five times.

Sun Bingo’s terms put it in three words, “Debit card deposits only”, and Fabulous, on the same licence, uses the same line. Gala and Foxy take a different route: PayPal is allowed for a first deposit, but “new accounts that deposit with PayPal first must complete the identity verification process before full access can be restored”. It is not hostility to PayPal. It is a fraud control, and it means the order you do things in matters.

Does PayPal let you gamble at all?

Yes, with a licensed operator. PayPal’s UK Acceptable Use Policy, updated 15 July 2026, lists gambling among the activities that need PayPal’s approval, and permits them only “if the operator and customers are located exclusively in jurisdictions where such activities are permitted by law”. In practice that means PayPal signs agreements with Gambling Commission licensees and refuses everyone else.

That gives you a useful test. If a bingo site takes PayPal, it has been through PayPal’s own vetting and it is almost certainly on the Gambling Commission register. Depositing with PayPal, step by step

Gala’s help page describes the sequence that every PayPal-enabled site follows. In the cashier, select PayPal and an amount, and the site redirects to PayPal’s login. Choose the funding source inside PayPal, confirm, and the site credits the account “10 to 20 seconds” later. Minimum deposits are the site’s own: £5 at Mecca and Sun Bingo, £10 at MrQ for the spins, £20 at Lucky VIP for its offer.

Gala and Foxy also offer a “billing agreement”, which stores the PayPal authorisation so later deposits skip the login. It is optional, it carries no fee, and it can be cancelled from the PayPal side. It is also the setting to avoid if you use deposit friction as a brake on your play, because it removes exactly that friction.

Withdrawing to PayPal

This is where most of the confusion sits, so the rules from the operators’ pages are worth quoting.

• You can only withdraw to a PayPal account that has already deposited. Gala requires “a successful deposit with your PayPal account within the last six months”. MrQ’s rule is the same without the time limit.
• If you deposited by PayPal and by card, you can still withdraw the lot to PayPal. Gala: “you can withdraw to PayPal even if you have also used additional deposit options”, and “you may withdraw more than your initial deposit via PayPal”.
• Speed depends on the site, not on PayPal. MrQ quotes near-instant to four hours. Sun Bingo says withdrawals are “usually a matter of days” and “could take up to 14 working days”. Both are processing times at the operator; once released, PayPal credits the balance immediately.
• Caps can be lower for PayPal. Sun Bingo’s maximum withdrawal is £50,000 by other methods and £5,500 for PayPal, with a £5 minimum.
• A first withdrawal at any licensed site can trigger identity or source-of-funds checks regardless of method. Sun Bingo’s FAQ warns of “additional information requests” for exactly this. Uploading a photo ID before the first withdrawal request, rather than after, is the single biggest time saver.

What to check before you deposit with PayPal

Fees

Most UK sites charge nothing; Gala’s help page says “There is no charge for deposits made using PayPal”, and MrQ charges nothing either way. Wowcher Bingo is the exception: its banking terms carried a £2.50 fee per deposit on 7 September 2026, which on a £10 deposit is a quarter of your money gone before the first game. Withdrawal routing

Winnings go back to the method you deposited with. At MrQ, PayPal withdrawals go back to a PayPal account that has already made a deposit, as our MrQ sister sites page records. If your only deposit was by debit card, you cannot withdraw to PayPal. Deposit at least once through the method you want to be paid by.

Speed

PayPal is the fastest withdrawal route at most sites because there is no bank clearing cycle. MrQ quotes near-instant to four hours; debit card withdrawals at the same site take up to three days. If speed matters to you, PayPal is the reason to skip the welcome offer rather than chase it.

Credit cards behind the PayPal account

Fabulous Bingo’s homepage says “We also accept debit and credit cards”, and Gala’s PayPal page still lists “Credit card” as a way to fund a PayPal account. Both lines are out of date for gambling: the Gambling Commission banned gambling businesses from taking credit cards from consumers in Great Britain on 14 April 2020, and the ban applies to a credit card used through PayPal as well. If your PayPal account is funded by a credit card, the deposit will either be refused or, worse, go through against the rules. The sister-site angle

Should you use PayPal at a bingo site?

Yes, after the welcome offer, and only from a PayPal account funded by your own bank or debit card.

Deposit the qualifying £5 or £10 by debit card, claim the offer, then make one small PayPal deposit so the account is registered for withdrawals, and use PayPal for everything after that. You get the bonus and the fast withdrawals both, which is the outcome the sites’ terms allow but never advertise. The one thing PayPal will not do is get you round GAMSTOP or a deposit limit: it is a payment method, and every site on this list is inside the British scheme. If you have self-excluded, none of them will take your money by any route, and that is the point.
