PricedUp Sister Sites: Star Sports, Same Building

PricedUp has one sister site, and it is Star Sports. Both are run from the same building in Hove, and the Gambling Commission’s register carries the two of them as separate accounts at one address: Star House, 255 Old Shoreham Road, BN3 7ED.

That is the whole family. There is no chain of a dozen lookalike casinos behind PricedUp, which makes it one of the smaller British betting groups we have looked at. Checked on 31 August 2026, here is what sits on each licence.

The two accounts, and why there are two

PricedUp’s own footer names its operator: “This site is operated by Off Course Bookmakers Limited (licence number 001776)”, with the Hove address printed underneath. That matches account 1776 on the register exactly.

Star Sports prints the same kind of line, with a different number: “Star Sports (licence number 009177)”. Account 9177 is Star Racing Limited, and the register gives its head office as Star House, 255 Old Shoreham Road, Hove, BN3 7ED. The same building.

The detail in that last row is the useful one. Off Course Bookmakers still holds “star sports” as a trading name, marked Inactive. The two companies are close enough that the same trading name has been registered on both accounts, which is not something unrelated businesses do.

Star Sports is the older operation of the two online. It has held a remote betting licence since July 2010, where PricedUp’s account only added remote betting in September 2022 and casino games in April 2024. Off Course Bookmakers itself goes back further, holding a non-remote betting licence since the register began in 2009, which fits a business that started in betting shops and on racecourses.

What is actually on each site

PricedUp runs a full sportsbook with in-play, virtuals, casino, live casino and bingo sections, which lines up with the four remote licences on account 1776. As of 31 August 2026 the site is open to UK visitors and serves its full lobby.

Star Sports leads with racing and football content, and starsportsbet.com forwards to starsportsbet.co.uk. The betting itself sits on starsports.bet.

They are not the same product with two skins. Star Sports is built around racing, with named tipsters and a podcast; PricedUp is a broader sportsbook with a casino attached. The three domains that left

Star Racing’s account also lists three Inactive domains, and each one is a brand that has gone somewhere else.

AK Bets is the interesting one. It was on the Star Sports licence and now runs on its own Irish company, which we have written up separately in AK Bets sister sites.

ne-bet.com moving onto ProgressPlay’s licence is a different kind of change. ProgressPlay runs a white-label network with more than a hundred brands on one permission, and was fined £1,000,000 in May 2025. Our Mr Slot review explains how that arrangement works from a player’s side.

What this means if you play at PricedUp

The short version: if you already have an account with PricedUp, opening one at Star Sports gets you a genuinely different sportsbook rather than the same site in new colours. That is worth more than it sounds, because most “sister sites” in this industry are one platform with the logo swapped.

Both sit on Active British licences, so both are inside GAMSTOP and both answer to the same complaints route if something goes wrong. Neither has a regulatory action recorded against it on the register.

One practical caution applies to any group like this: a self-exclusion you set with one operator does not automatically carry to the other, because they are separate licensees. GAMSTOP covers both, but an operator-level exclusion may not.
