Fortunica Review: The Terms Link Opens Another Casino

Fortunica draws around 600 UK searches a month. It holds no British licence, states a Curacao one, and publishes a genuinely detailed set of figures for a site in this bracket. Our score: 6 out of 10 for a UK audience.

The score is low for one specific reason. Fortunica publishes more real detail than most offshore casinos we cover, and then makes it impossible to verify any of it: every legal link in the footer, terms included, sends you to a different casino brand.

Is Fortunica licensed in the UK?

No. We downloaded the Commission register on 2 September 2026 and searched account names, trading names and domains for fortunica. There is no match.

What it states instead, in its own footer:

“Copyright © 2026 Fortunica Casino is operated by Fortunica Gaming Ltd. under a Curaçao eGaming licence, with play in GBP, a secure cashier and 24/7 support. You must be 18 or over to play.”

A named company and a named jurisdiction is more than Basswin offers, which claims only “an international license”. But there is no licence number and no company registration number, so neither claim can be checked against the Curacao register. Zizobet, by contrast, publishes both: licence OGL/2024/1798/1048 and Curacao company number 151296.

The terms link goes to a different casino

Fortunica’s footer carries four links: Responsible Gambling, Privacy Policy, Terms and Conditions, and Verification Guide. All four point at the same URL:

Spinformula is a separate brand advertising its own offers: 550% up to £15,000 plus 550 free spins, a crypto bonus and a VIP pack up to £10,555. The tracking parameter and the register modal make the purpose plain.

So the wagering requirement, the max bet rule and the 48-hour activation window are published on the marketing page, and the document that would make them binding cannot be reached. If a withdrawal is refused on a clause, there is no clause to read.

The bonus, and the two clauses that shrink it

Credit where due: Fortunica publishes its bonus mechanics in a table on the page, before registration. Most casinos in this bracket do not.

Two details do most of the work against you. The £5 maximum bet while wagering means clearing a large bonus takes a very long time at a stake you are allowed to place. And 48 hours to activate each stage means the headline £3,000 requires three deposits inside a compressed window, not one at your own pace.

What it does get right

It is worth being fair about the things Fortunica publishes that others hide. Play is in GBP rather than euros, so there is no conversion on every deposit, unlike Basswin, which advertises €3,000 to a UK audience. The minimum deposit is stated at £10. The maximum withdrawal is stated at up to £1,000,000, method dependent. The operator is named, and the site says it launched in 2025 and works with more than 50 studios.

The site also describes deposit limits, time-outs and self-exclusion available from the account. Those are the right tools. Without a British licence they are the operator’s own promises rather than regulated obligations, and there is no GAMSTOP registration behind them, so a self-exclusion here does not cover any other site.

Casinos without a British licence take different approaches to UK visitors, and the block is often the safer outcome. Should you play at Fortunica?

We would not, and the reason is narrower than usual.

Fortunica is not hiding its terms out of carelessness. It publishes a wagering table, a max-bet rule and a deposit minimum in plain sight. It simply does not let you reach the document those figures come from, because all four legal links have been repurposed as an affiliate route to Spinformula.

That leaves a British player with marketing copy and no contract, no licence number to check, no GAMSTOP and no Commission complaints route. The published terms may well be accurate. There is no way for you to hold anyone to them.
