Loki Casino review: not closed, but not UK licensed

Loki Casino is not closed. On 7 September 2026 the site loaded in full from a UK connection, took us straight to a euro lobby and put a welcome pack in front of us. It has also never held a Gambling Commission licence, and that is the part that matters if you are searching from Britain. Nothing protects you if a withdrawal goes wrong, and no UK body has any say over the operator. Our score: 5 out of 10.

We checked the register, loaded the site from the UK, read the site text and pulled the Trustpilot numbers. What follows is what we found, with the source named each time so you can repeat the checks yourself.

We searched the Gambling Commission register for “Loki”, then for Dama N.V. and Direx N.V. to rule out an entry filed under a company name rather than the brand. All three searches returned nothing. There is no account number, no licensee and no lapsed historic entry. Loki was never UK licensed, so it cannot have been de-licensed either. The site itself is no help. It says “we have a Curacao license” and, in a separate line, “The Casino Online has a legal permission to conduct online gambling on the basis of the international License”. No company name appears anywhere on the page. We could not verify the Curacao claim because there is no licence number and no licensee to check it against.

What a UK visitor sees today

There is no block page and no “not available in your country” notice. From a UK address the lobby served us the headline “WELCOME PACK 225% UP TO 31,500 euros + 225 FS”, a “WEEKEND RELOAD BONUS 60% UP TO 10,000 euros + 75 FS” with the code 6RELOAD, and “DAILY CASHBACK UP TO 10%”. Deposits are in crypto: BTC, ETH, LTC, DOGE, USDT and others. Pricing is in euros throughout, with no pound option.

The site names Microgaming, Pragmatic Play, Evolution and Yggdrasil as suppliers and claims “over 5,000 games”. We did not count them and cannot confirm that figure. A supplier logo on a page is not evidence of a licence, and it tells you nothing about who would pay out if you won.

What is missing says more than what is there. We found no UK safer gambling links of any kind. Licensed UK sites carry them because the Commission requires it; Loki carries none because nobody requires anything of it.

Why “open” is worse than “closed” here

A site that blocks the UK at least keeps British players out. Loki does the opposite. Because it is not on the Gambling Commission register, it is not connected to GAMSTOP, so a UK player who has self excluded can open an account here with nothing to stop them. The Commission has no power over the operator, and there is no named company to complain to if a withdrawal stalls.

We also looked at Wayback. Its copies of the site have alternated between 200 and 403 responses to the archive crawler since 2022. That tells us the domain has been up for at least four years and sometimes refuses the archive bot. It does not show UK geo blocking, and our own live check from a UK address confirmed there is none.

Trustpilot: 2.4 from 162 reviews

Trustpilot rates lokicasino.com at 2.4 from 162 reviews as of 7 September 2026. 41 per cent of those are one star. The operator replies to 88 per cent of reviews, and the newest was posted on 2 August 2026. Replying is better than silence, but a reply rate that high sitting next to a 2.4 average tells us the replies are not resolving the complaints.

Casinos without a British licence take different approaches to UK visitors, and the block is often the safer outcome. Compare Golden Mister, which claims an Anjouan licence with no number, Fortunica, whose legal links open a different casino and Boomerang Casino, which returns a 403 page to UK visitors.

Should you play here?

No. Our advice for UK players is to leave this one alone. The bonus is large because it is priced in euros and offered by an operator that does not have to follow UK bonus rules, and you have no way of knowing who is holding your money.
