Gamesys Casinos and Sister Sites

Gamesys Operations Limited holds UKGC account 38905. Virgin Games and Jackpotjoy both run on it.

Checked against the Gambling Commission register on 29 September 2026

Gamesys Operations Limited runs Jackpotjoy, Virgin Games, Double Bubble Bingo, Monopoly Casino, Rainbow Riches Casino and Bally Casino on a single Gambling Commission account 38905. The register lists 12 live domains for six brands. Three are the company’s own and nine are white labels, where the brand name belongs to someone else and Gamesys runs the gambling.

We checked all 12 from a UK connection on 29 September 2026. Eight opened. The four that did not are older Rainbow Riches and Rainbow Slots addresses; the brand itself now lives at rainbowrichescasino.com.

Virgin Games and Monopoly Casino are the two names people least expect here. Both are white labels: the brand is licensed in, and Gamesys holds the gambling licence, your balance and the complaints process.

The £6 million fine

In January 2024 the Commission announced a £6 million penalty against Gamesys Operations Limited after a compliance assessment found social responsibility and anti-money laundering failings between November 2021 and July 2022. The register gives the exact figure as £6,071,292, including £165,042 divested, alongside a formal warning and an extra licence condition requiring a third-party audit.

The published examples are specific. No risk was flagged when one customer deposited £8,255 within three days of opening an account. Another customer lost almost £10,000 before the first interaction, and that “responsible gambling interaction” recommended new games and promotions. A third lost £19,709 over five months with a single interaction. On the money laundering side, some customers could avoid the checks altogether, and others were cleared on internet research or their own verbal assurances after depositing over £58,000 and £65,000 in six months.

The Commission noted that Gamesys co-operated and took corrective steps. The action is still listed on the register’s business page for account 38905.

Are they sister sites?

Yes. Jackpotjoy, Virgin Games, Double Bubble, Monopoly Casino, Rainbow Riches Casino and Bally Casino all sit on one licence, so one Gibraltar company holds the money and answers complaints across all six. GAMSTOP blocks them together. Accounts do not carry across: each brand has its own registration, and limits set at one stay at that one.

How to check a Gamesys site yourself

  1. Scroll to the footer. A site on this licence says it is operated by Gamesys Operations Limited, registered in Gibraltar, and gives account number 38905.
  2. Search 38905 on the Gambling Commission public register and open the domain names tab.
  3. Find the site’s address. Active or White Label means it is live on the licence; Inactive means it no longer trades there.
