BetTOM Sister Sites: One Licence, Two Uckfield Neighbours

BetTOM has no sister sites on its own licence. Bet Tom Limited holds Gambling Commission account 64959 and runs one domain on it, bettom.com. What it does have is two close neighbours: BetAhoy and BetGoodwin, separately licensed bookmakers run from the same small row of units in Uckfield, East Sussex, by the same family.

That makes them relatives rather than sisters. Each one is its own company with its own licence, so an account, a balance or a complaint at one has nothing to do with the others.

The link runs through Companies House. Susan Claire Head controls Bet Tom Limited and is one of its two directors, alongside Paul Adam Colley. Benjamin Head was a founding director of Bet Tom and held between 25% and 50% of its shares until he stepped down in May 2024; he sits on the Goodwin boards. Julian George Norman Head controls Bet Ahoy Ltd and is a director of Goodwin Racing Limited.

So three licences, three companies and one family. That is a common shape for independent British bookmakers, and none of the three accounts carries a regulatory action.

What that means for you

• An account at BetTOM does not give you an account at BetAhoy or BetGoodwin. You register, verify and set limits at each one.
• A complaint goes to the company you played with, then to the dispute service named in its terms.
• A self-exclusion set inside BetTOM does not carry across. GAMSTOP does, because all three are licensed and must check it.
• Offers are set brand by brand, so it is worth comparing the three welcome offers before you join one.
