Madam Riches: Closed, and Where the Address Sends You Now

Madam Riches attracts around 600 UK searches a month for a casino that no longer exists. The Gambling Commission’s register lists its domain as Inactive. Type the address today and you land on a sign-up form for a different casino run by a different company.

What happens when you visit madamriches.com

Requested from a Manchester connection on 26 August 2026, madamriches.com answers with an HTTP 301 served through CloudFront. A 301 is a permanent redirect, which is the operator’s own way of saying the address is not coming back.

It sends you here:

Nothing on the destination page mentions Madam Riches. There is no closure notice, no explanation and no route to a previous account. A returning player gets a registration form for a brand they did not sign up to.

The licence position, and what Inactive means

We downloaded the Commission’s register on 26 August 2026 from its own daily files. madamriches.com appears once:

39175, madamriches.com, Inactive

Account 39175 is Jumpman Gaming Limited. Inactive on the domain register means the licensee no longer offers gambling at that address. The licence itself is unaffected. It is the brand that has stopped, not the company.

That distinction matters. Inactive is not the same as unlicensed, and it is not the same as shut down in disgrace. Jumpman remains a licensed British operator.

How many addresses it carries is the striking part. Account 39175 lists 229 domains: 18 Active, 80 Inactive and 131 White Label. Madam Riches is one of the eighty.

Where your account went

If you held a balance, the redirect does not help you and neither does the site at the end of it. The correct route is Jumpman Gaming as the licensee, because Broadway Gaming never held your account.

Under the Commission’s rules a licensee must tell customers what happens to their funds when a brand closes, and must return balances. If that did not happen, the escalation path is the operator first, then its alternative dispute resolution provider, and the Commission for the licensing side. This is the practical advantage of a closed British brand over a closed offshore one. There is a named licensee, an account number and a regulator that can be told. When an unlicensed casino stops answering, as any of the brands in our offshore reviews could, none of that exists.

Why the address points at Glossy Bingo

We can describe the pattern precisely, and we are not going to guess at the commercial arrangement behind it.

Glossy Bingo runs on account 39075, Broadway Gaming Limited, which is not Jumpman. So a domain licensed to one operator now sends its traffic to a brand licensed to another.

Two other domains do something similar, and these are on the register rather than inferred from a redirect:

Those are the only two domains on the entire register that appear as Inactive under Jumpman and Active under Broadway. Brands have moved in that direction, and Madam Riches’ traffic now moves the same way without the brand itself reappearing anywhere.

What we will not call this is an acquisition. The register records licensing, not ownership, and a redirect is not a contract.

What “White Label” means, and why it matters here

Jumpman’s 229 domains split three ways on the register, and the third category explains the scale.

A white label is a casino that belongs, commercially, to a third party, while the licence, the platform, the games and the compliance obligations belong to Jumpman. The brand owner supplies the name, the artwork and the marketing. If something goes wrong, the licensee is still the party the Commission holds responsible, and still the party you complain to.

That is why the numbers look the way they do. A business running 131 other people’s brands accumulates dead addresses quickly, because a white-label partner can stop trading without the licensee going anywhere. Eighty inactive domains is not a sign of a failing operator. It is a sign of a particular business model.

It also explains why Madam Riches can vanish without any announcement. Nobody’s main brand closed.

How to check whether any casino has closed

This is worth knowing, because a great deal of affiliate content still lists offers for brands that stopped trading years ago, and the check takes about a minute.

1. Download the Gambling Commission’s domain names register. It is a plain CSV of account number, domain and status.
2. Search it for the casino’s address. Active means it is trading. Inactive means it is not. White Label means it is trading, on someone else’s licence.
3. If it is not in the file at all, it holds no British licence, which is a different problem and a larger one.

Two things that are not evidence of closure, and which people reasonably mistake for it: a site being slow or ugly, and a site being absent from a comparison table. Two things that are: an Inactive register entry, and a permanent redirect to a different brand. Madam Riches has both.

What we can and cannot say about the closure date

We can date the redirect and we cannot date the closure, and it is worth being clear about which is which.

• The domain was first registered on 3 May 2018, which puts a floor under when the brand could have launched.
• Its registration record was last updated on 3 July 2026, which is consistent with the redirect being configured around then, though an update can mean many things.
• The register lists it Inactive as at our download on 26 August 2026. The Commission’s files carry a status, not a date of change.
• The domain is paid up until 3 May 2027, so the redirect will keep working for a while yet.

So: closed at some point before late August 2026, redirecting since around early July 2026 at the earliest. Anyone stating a precise closure date is inferring it, as we would be.

What to do if you were looking for Madam Riches

• You cannot join. The brand is not trading and the domain does not lead to it.
• If you had a balance, contact Jumpman Gaming as the licensee, not the site you land on.

Two things worth knowing before you pick one. They share an operator, so a self-exclusion or account closure at one does not close the others. And because they share a platform, the game library, the wagering structure and usually the bonus shape are close to identical across all eighteen. Choosing between them is mostly choosing a theme.
